Sophie Pécaud is a Voluntary Researcher and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Nantes, France. Specializing in philosophy of biology, her research interests include the history and philosophy of contemporary systematics and its relationships with evolutionary biology. She is the author of Cladistique et évolution : une fondation problématique, to be published by Classiques Garnier. A Ph.D. in Philosophy (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, 2013), she also holds an M.Ed. in Adult Education and Training (Nantes, 2009), and works as a Freelance Adult Educator and Consultant.
